Happy Hump Day!

Well it is mid week again. WOW feels great to be up at the top of the week looking down forward to week's end.
Monday and Tuesday we had another snow storm of over a foot. High winds, and freezing cold temps. of up to -30 again. So what did I do while I could not get out? SEW!!!!! I whipped up Jill a new feltie for her bed. (A Owl) and cut out the second one for Jayne. (I will those pics up soon) I am cutting out fabric for covers for doodle books for the girls, and scrapbooking cards for the teachers as it is also teacher app. week.
HB went back to work today, after beginning to feel a bit better. We spent the whole afternoon in the high winds and cold temps. yesterday cleaning door ways, bringing in wood, feeding and watering the animals, and cleaning the driveways and yard. (I feel it in my arms today!)
We had a nice ham supper last night and the weeones bundled up good and spent a half hour up at the sliding hill Dad made in the afternoon.
Today it has warmed up a bit, to about -15 (so I decided to leave the fire go out so we can clean the ashes tonight)
I took out pork chops for supper and will have rice and noodles with toss salad.
It is very quite here today with only me and the dogs in the house. Well I guess it is back to sewing......
take care and stay warm!!!!!!

  3. Those are some cold temperatures! Sometimes we get down into single digits with wind chills below zero but never anything close to -30. We have had warm temps this week in the 50's & 60's.

I just found your blog through Holcomb Happenings and can't wait to read more. I love finding new blog friends :)

    Have a nice evening.
